All the art in this mixed media collection was painted with acrylic paints on designer paper over wood blocks. The color and/or the texture of the paper inspired my choice of animal to be painted. My photographs were the source of these paintings, except for the alligator and white owl.

This 4 piece collection started out as a giant canvas that was going to be an abstract painting. It morphed into individual paintings, all featuring birds. Sometimes you just have to let your hand do what it wants to do despite the intentions of your mind!
